Some Helpful Info on car stereo.

Mazda to ISO wiring loom harness.

Hi,

My name is Ian and with over 35 years in the car audio industry both here and in Australia I thought I would try to impart some helpful free knowledge and information to those at home wanting to change or upgrade their car stereo systems.

If you have a Japanese import radio and the FM stations are not working then an FM expander is the starting point for an upgrade.

To Bluetooth your music from your phone to your car stereo head unit then the cheapest way is an FM modulator adaptor.

To add an AUX input, wired or wireless Bluetooth, I can also help with all of these options.

But as some of these are a compromise in sound quality, and if you wish to fix all of these issues together, then I recommend you put the money you would have spent on these separate “upgrades” into a new stereo head unit that has all of the up to date features built in.

These new systems can be inexpensive as the technology of Apple Car Play and Android Auto can cost less than $400.00 or a Bluetooth option with hands-free phone calling built in for under $150.00

With Car Play and Android Auto hands-free phone calling is just one of the advantages, along with GPS mapping from Google shown directly onto the larger car stereo screen. There are also reverse camera options for that added safety.
